Library Grades 6 - 12

The Upper/Middle School Library serves grades 6-12. Students come during study halls and frequently gather before and after school for research, reading, and study. Library hours are 7:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 7:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. on Fridays.

Teachers bring their classes to receive instruction and to research topics. Computers are available for student use and library staff is available for help with technology, book selection, and research.

On the library webpage are links to our catalog of books, selected websites, online encyclopedias, subject databases, Alabama Virtual Library, and local public and college libraries. All resources are accessible from school or home. Please see the library staff or your teacher for the standard username and password.

Science Online

This database provides supplemental information for the study of all disciplines of science. It contains encyclopedia articles, definitions, charts, illustrations, experiments, biographies and timelines. Country Reports provides up to the minute information about countries around the world. From food and customs, to current statistics, and current events and maps, each country is presented in an easy to use format.   Alabama Virtual Library (AVL)

The Alabama Virtual Library provides all students, teachers, and citizens of the State of Alabama with online access to essential library and information resources. It is primarily a group of online databases that have magazine, journal, and newspaper articles for research. No password required when accessed within the state of Alabama.

  St. Paul’s EBook Library

St. Paul’s is excited to provide eBooks to our students! This link provides direct access to the St. Paul’s library of eBooks. Users will need to download software as prompted and may check out books electronically using their St. Paul’s ID number as both the Student ID and PIN.
