Anne Marie Milling Sims
Anne Marie Milling Sims has worked at St. Paul’s for the past eight years. She currently teaches in the school’s Independent Program and serves as the head coach for the Swim and Dive teams. In 2003-2004, she coached the Girl’s State Championship Swim Team. Anne Marie has also coached club swimming for the past 30 years. While attending St. Paul’s as a student, she was a high school All-American in swimming. She attended the Olympic Trials in 1980; she is the 1978 YMCA National Champion in the 50 free and the 1978 Junior Olympic Champion in the 100 Free. She attended the University of Alabama on scholarship and became a 5-time college All-American. She has a B.S. in Early Childhood Education from the University of Alabama, a M.S. in Early Childhood Education from the University of South Alabama and a Masters in Sports Science from the United States Sports Academy.
She has two children, Caitlin 21, a senior at the University of Montevallo, and Zachary 18, a senior at St. Paul's.
