Mike Fricke - Girls' Soccer
A native of Washington State, Coach Mike Fricke came to Mobile, Alabama to play collegiate soccer for the University of Mobile. In his playing days Coach Fricke was a part of numerous Club State Championship Teams, was selected to participate in the WA State Olympic Development Team and ODP Regional IV Pool for numerous years, and capped off his playing days by scoring the winning goal to help University of Mobile win its first-ever Men’s NAIA National Championship in 2002.
Since 2002, Fricke has coached many Varsity, Club, and Recreation soccer teams around Mobile. From 2004-2010, Coach Fricke lead the Varsity St. Paul’s Girl’s Soccer Program, took a break in 2011 for the birth of his son and to begin a Doctorate in Education, and will continue leading the Lady Saints in 2012. During 2004-2010, the Lady Saints tallied up a section title every year and won St. Paul’s first-ever State Championship in 2009 under Coach Fricke.
