Dear St. Paul’s Family,
The Annual Report for 2011-2012 is a simple way of saying thank you for your support and commitment to St. Paul’s Episcopal School. The sacrifices you have made are appreciated, and we are humbled by your confidence. Our school is mission-centered, and the statement issued by the original Board of Trustees is still alive and vibrant today. We teach the individual student, and the whole student, through the four pillars of our school: Academics, Spirituality, Athletics and the Arts. This allows our students to flourish and perform at high levels in all areas, becoming the people they are meant to be – scholars, artists, athletes, and community activists through faith.
We are St. Paul’s because of the people who teach, learn, and live our mission statement. We are a school that gives every student opportunities to succeed, build skills, confidence, and relationships that will allow them to apply the knowledge and understanding they receive as St. Paul’s Saints. They become good citizens, ready, willing, and able to make a difference in an ever-changing world. Our alumni have already made a difference, not just in Mobile, but in our Governor’s Mansion, the Oval Office, the military, hospitals, Major League Baseball, courtrooms, churches, NASA, Broadway, National Football League, and in universities and school classrooms across the United States. Our current students are prepared, engaged, and inspired to make even greater contributions.
All of these opportunities are possible because of your contributions to St. Paul’s Episcopal School. We are honored by your commitment; we will put your gift to its intended use.
Yours truly,
F. Martin Lester, Jr.
