Typing Pal Program for Grades 3 & 4

Dear Third and Fourth Grade Parents,

St. Paul’s now has access to Typing Pal School, the best tool for learning how to type. Your child can now practice directly from home via the Internet.

Technological evolution and the ever-growing presence of the Internet in our daily lives have made it so that keyboard proficiency has become a must for your child who will later find him/herself at a professional training center, college, university, or in the workforce.

We ask that parents encourage their children to improve on what they have learned by reminding them to practice at home every week. Students log in at this address: http://school.typingpal.com.  The institution code is: SPESSPES.   Your child may then log in using their school username and password.

• It is recommended that each child successfully complete at least two steps or baskets every quarter.
• Whatever your child completes at home will show up at school when they log in.
• Exercises should be done in order.
• We are trying to learn TOUCH TYPING; not “hunt-and-peck” typing!
