COVID-19 Response

As St. Paul's Episcopal School monitors the status of COVID-19, we will continue to send relevant updates to the St. Paul's community and we will make these updates available on this web page.

Campus Exclusion Guidance

Click here to see the most current Campus Exclusion Guidance Chart.

  • A Continuous Contact is a contact from whom the COVID-19 positive individual cannot truly isolate, such as a household member or caretaker.
  • If a student or anyone who has had continuous contact with the student, receives a COVID-19 test, the student and individuals considered Continuous Contacts must remain away from school between the time of testing and the time when result is available.
  • If an individual is positive for COVID-19, all Continuous Contacts must stay at home for 10 days with the positive individual and then quarantine for an additional 14 days.
  • The school will not accept COVID-19 rapid test results unless positive.  If a rapid test is administered to a student or Continuous Contact and the result is negative, the school will require a follow up PCR test.
  • If a student is asymptomatic with no known first degree contact and has a Continuous Contact who has had a routine or mandated COVID-19 swab (i.e. required for work or prior to a surgery), the student is not required to stay away from school.
  • If a child misses more than 3 consecutive days of school a doctor’s note is required to return to school.
  • St. Paul’s COVID-19 data by grade will be provided on a weekly basis as a part of the weekly announcements.

COVID-19 Podcast

St. Paul's is committed to communicating regularly, clearly, and transparently with all members of our community throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.  As part of that commitment, we will produce occasional podcasts to provide helpful information and thus give you a better understanding of St. Paul's plans and actions as events continue to develop in the weeks ahead.  We hope that you find this medium to be both engaging and informative, and encourage you to provide feedback, questions, and topic ideas. We apologize in advance for any difficulty you may have with sound quality in some sections; this was a function of poor cell phone dynamics and will be remedied prior to the next podcast.
