Used Backpack Collection for the Homeless
Working with Cave Ministries, Leslie Lerner organized a school-wide used backpack collection at the end of the school year.  She collected almost 100 backpacks which she delivered to Cave Ministries on Wednesday, May 26th.  They will be filled with items and donated to the homeless in the Mobile area.

Pop Tab Competition for Ronald McDonald House
Teacher Donna Mackin again spearheaded a pop tab collection with the Sixth Grade Rutledge Fellows to benefit our local Ronald McDonald House.  Students in grades 3-6 have been competing all year to collect the most tabs.  The winner was the fourth grade who collected over 170 pounds of the grand total of 267 pounds!
