Private Strings Instruction

Private instruction is offered to grades 5-12 for violin, viola, cello, and double bass. Lessons are held in the strings classroom after school during the school year but not during the summer. Contact Holly Compton for more information:

Vivian McCall and Emma Gage Artwork to be displayed in 19-20 NOAA Calendar
Two St. Paul’s sixth graders, Vivian McCall and Emma Gage, won recognition in the NOAA Fisheries calendar contest. Their two pieces of artwork were selected out of 459 submissions coming from 21 states. Their work will appear in the online 2019-2020 NOAA Fisheries calendar.

Superior Saints at the District Solo and Ensemble Festival
This past weekend sixteen St. Paul’s Band students participated in the District Solo and Ensemble festival. The students prepared musical selections and performed them in front of judges. We had a few winners in the Alabama Independent School Association’s State level Art Competition. Congratulations to Our St. Paul’s Artists!
Shelby Arts Council Statewide Juried Highschool Art  Exhibition. Over 360 works were submitted. Of the 54 pieces juried into the competition, 10 were by St. Paul’s students!  We had the largest number in the competition! Taylor Shuford earned an Honorable mention for Captivation Composition! Allie Bryant won Best of Painting and came home with a $250 check! […]
