Technology Central

Lenovo Warranty Service Center and Helpdesk

St. Paul’s has a certified warranty service center to provide service on student laptops. Students who encounter hardware issues should bring their laptops to Moorer Library where a staff member will evaluate the situation, orders parts and perform the required service. Students are provided with a loaner laptop while theirs is being repaired.

The service center also provides software assistance including restoring the laptop to its original condition if software has become an issue.

If you need help with a technology or audio/visual issue, please open a support ticket for better service.

Netclassroom won't load and FAWeb gives you an error ?

Are you a parent or student trying to check netclassroom or use faculty member using FAWeb and can't get in? Does Netclassroom just spin and spin or do you get a stack trace error in FAWeb? If so, your computer has updated to a newer version Internet Explorer (19 or higher). You must use COMPATIBILITY VIEW to have the site load correctly. Other browsers (chrome, firefox etc.) or earlier versions of Internet Explorer do not require this change.

To enable this setting, got to the site, login then select TOOLS > COMPATIBILITY VIEW SETTINGS from the menu bar and make sure is added. You will be logged out of the site but the next you login all should work as expected.  If you are using EDGE as your browser, you do NOT have the ability to change compatibility view settings. You must click on the three dot menu button, then OPEN IN INTERNET EXPLORER.
