William Jameson finishes 12th in AHSAA All Star Race
Congratulations to St. Paul's senior cross country runner William Jameson, who finished 12th in this summer's AHSAA All-Star race. That finish helped the South team to a narrow 1 point victory over the North.
This performance comes on the heels of his 21st place finish at last year's 7A state championship meet. That finish contributed to the Saints' third place finish as a team, as well as a new school record for the fastest 1-5 team average in school history.
William is also an accomplished student and an elite swimmer on the St. Paul's varsity swim team. In his time at St. Paul's so far, William has taken 6 AP exams and made a 5 on all six of them. His junior year, he took 4 AP classes while maintaining well over a 90 in every class. He also made a 35 on the ACT and a 1590 on the SAT.
William is/was an active member of the Key Club, Youth Judicial, SGA, and the Waffle House Club. He also won the Harvard Book Award and the Mu Alpha Theta Math Award. As a member of the St. Paul's varsity swim team, William helped set the new all-time, all-classification state record in the 200 yard IM relay.
