Dear New St. Paul’s Parents,
We are excited to welcome you to the St. Paul’s family! Our family moved to Mobile about two years ago, and our immediate school choice was St. Paul’s. It is a wonderful environment full of many opportunities.
We chose St. Paul’s because it felt like family and home. I attended St. Paul’s from Pre-K to Senior year, and words cannot express my gratitude for the advantages that I was given in life thanks to my education. I graduated 21 years ago. When researching schools upon moving back to Mobile, we were astonished at the activities and curriculum offered to the students. We have a five-year-old, Hilton, who will be attending Kindergarten this year and a two-year-old, Mary Stuart. When we attended a St. Paul’s Preview Day, we were thrilled to learn of all the things that even just the Pre-K students get to do. They learn Spanish and participate in all kinds of science lessons in Mrs. Cotton’s room, as well as learn art and music at a much higher level than we did as Pre-K students. This just proves that St. Paul’s is evolving and growing as our world changes.
Not only did I receive the best education and foundation for my college and graduate school years, but I made the best friendships and connections with people of all ages and backgrounds with whom I still keep up today. I want that for my children. Currently, it makes my heart swell to see my children play with the children of classmates from my St. Paul’s years and know our legacy continues.
Our tuition revenue covers approximately 80% of the school’s operating cost, but St. Paul’s prides itself on offering students the extracurricular activities and programs that prepare them for their future. This is where the Saints’ Fund is needed to fill in the gaps. The Saints’ Fund is the financial instrument that helps us build new facilities, new programs and curriculums that put our students’ learning experiences above the rest. The Saints’ Fund is essential to our school in its quest to continue to be the extraordinary institution it is.
Every gift, big or small, will make a significant difference in all of our children’s futures. Our children are the best investment we can make, and we sincerely hope that you will join our family in giving to the Saints’ Fund. As Benjamin Franklin said, “An investment in knowledge pays the best interest.”
