Dear Fellow St. Paul’s Alumni,

During my time as a student at St. Paul’s, I gained an invaluable appreciation for learning and cultivated the skills needed to navigate the everyday challenges that would be thrown my way as an adult.  With that said, the last sixteen months have truly thrown a curveball to all of us.  From our dedicated faculty and staff navigating what academics, the arts, athletics, and spirituality could look like during an unprecedented pandemic to our alumni providing healthcare and other critical services on the frontline, our spirit never wavered.

When I think about the true spirit of a Saint, it begins with the highest standards.  St. Paul’s continually challenged us to strive for our best, not just as students in the classroom, but also as neighbors, citizens, mentors, and friends.  We grew up relying on our fellow Saints to help us through the toughest times, and this past year was no different.  It was the hearts, minds and spirits of our alumni that kept our economy thriving, children learning, and citizens healthy.  Saints everywhere were called to serve and stepped up to the plate time and time again.

We all know that you can know everything in the world, but if you don’t know what matters, then nothing does.  We Saints carry this belief with us everywhere we go, and we teach it to future generations that will grow up and follow in our footsteps.  As St. Paul’s alumni, it is our duty to pour from the virtues that were instilled in us back into our community and back into our school.  As we embark on another school year, our support is needed more than ever to continue to strengthen St. Paul’s role as a leader in academics, the arts, athletics, spirituality, and so much more.  Support comes in the form of staying engaged, being present at events, and making a financial gift to the annual Saints’ Fund.

I know that I am not alone when I say “St. Paul’s made me the person I am today.”  With that in mind, I encourage each of you to invest in the place that invested so much in you.  Our future depends on it.  Join me in paying it forward and supporting our current and future Saints by making a financial gift to the Saints’ Fund.

Sincerely,

Justine Herlihy Bixler
