Dear Fellow St. Paul’s Grandparents,
We are thrilled to serve as the Grandparent Chairs for the Saints’ Fund this year, and we hope you will join us in supporting this very worthy cause.
As young parents (one of us a teacher, who was fortunate to have a unique perspective) we chose St. Paul’s for our two sons, not only for the academic excellence, but because we saw something more in St. Paul’s. St. Paul’s cultivates the individual child and seeks to develop well-rounded children. The faculty encourages and empowers students to pursue their individual gifts no matter what the current definition of success might be. St. Paul’s does an outstanding job of laying a firm foundation of academics, arts, athletics and faith that serves its students well, no matter where their roads lead them.
Our sons, Brandon (’99) and Garrett (’03) were challenged at St. Paul’s, not only by their teachers but by their peers, who shared a common desire to grow and achieve. They both had the privilege of playing on winning state championship baseball teams, a process through which they developed a strong sense of work ethic, character, and perseverance. In addition to athletics, Brandon and Garrett participated in fine arts and grew spiritually during their time at St. Paul’s. It was a wonderful experience. Both were more than prepared for college and the pursuit of meaningful careers. Now, we get to watch our grandchildren have their own unique St. Paul’s experiences!
One of our favorite things about St. Paul’s is the value it places on traditions. We love that our grandchildren are able share in so many of the same traditions that their parents enjoyed at St. Paul’s, such as attending chapel, singing on the Red Steps, having big brothers/big sisters, and the list goes on. What a gift to be part of such a deeply rooted community! When we attend chapel with our grandchildren, we feel very connected. Once you have joined a family, you are forever a part of that family, and that is most certainly true of the St. Paul’s family.
By supporting the Saints’ Fund, you play a critical role in ensuring that your grandchildren have access to the best opportunities in the best learning environment possible. As past parents, a past teacher, and now grandparents of two Saints, we are convinced that your grandchildren will develop a love of learning while receiving the tools and encouragement necessary to become the best versions of themselves. Join us in supporting what matters by making a gift to the Saints’ Fund…for your grandchildren!
