Mrs. Harrison’s First Graders Visit the Elderly at Carillon Oaks

Halloween was the theme of the day as Mrs. Harrison’s class of first graders paid a visit to the residents of Carillon Oaks, a senior memory care facility.  The students had colored Frankenstein door hangers which they presented to the residents as they arrived.  They met their new grandfriends and did a jack o’lantern craft supplied by the activities director Maya Williams.  The students enjoyed painting the pumpkin hangers and got lots of encouragement and guidance from their new friends.
