Introducing Our New Faculty & Staff

 

 

Parker earned her degree in Elementary Education from Louisiana State University and brings nearly a decade of classroom teaching experience. She and her husband, Zack, spent 10 years in Houston before returning to Mobile with their family. Over the last few years, she has served as a substitute teacher at the Lower School and as a Room Mother on Parent Council. Parker enjoys creating a positive and engaging learning environment for her students. In her free time, she loves traveling, attending LSU football games, playing tennis, and spending time with friends and family. She and Zack have three children, Will (3rd Grade), Jane (1st Grade), and Perry (PreK).

 

 

Madison will be working alongside Sara Eudy as a PreK Assistant this school year. A St. Paul’s alumna, Madison is excited to return to a school that holds a special place in her family’s life. Her husband, Thomas (’08), is also a St. Paul’s graduate, making their connection to the school even more meaningful. Madison spent the past three years teaching elementary art and enjoys helping children explore their creativity while building confidence. She and Thomas have three children, including Hugh (2nd Grade) and Beau (PreK), who will be attending St. Paul’s this year. Outside of school, Madison enjoys reading and spending time with family and friends.

 

 

 

Brianne, a St. Paul’s alumna and current parent, earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from Auburn University. In addition to her extensive design experience, she brings a hands-on approach that encourages experimentation and creative exploration. Her teaching philosophy centers on visual problem-solving, empowering students to develop their own creative voice through a variety of processes, materials, and mediums while fostering curiosity, confidence, and innovation. Brianne is married to James and they have two daughters, Olivia (1st Grade) and Amelie (Kindergarten).

 

 

Brianna earned her Bachelor of Music in Music Education from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and brings elementary music teaching experience from Tennessee, Mississippi, and Alabama. A lifelong participant in convention music, she spent 15 years teaching at Gospel Singing Schools across the South. Brianna also serves alongside her husband, Derek, directing the 5th and 6th grade choir at Spring Hill Baptist Church. Brianna and Derek have one son, Luke.

 

 

 

Sierra earned her master’s degree in Elementary Education from Michigan State University. She has several years of classroom experience and a strong background in literacy instruction. Sierra has helped support schoolwide literacy efforts by encouraging instructional practices that strengthen reading and writing across grade levels. Sierra is married to Matthew, and their daughter, Ella, will be in kindergarten at St. Paul’s.

 

 

Robert has journeyed all over the world and now is back in his hometown of Mobile, AL. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of South Alabama and a master’s degree in Education from Northern Arizona University. His teaching career began at a private language school in Northeast China, followed by nine rewarding years teaching middle school science in Cottonwood, Arizona. His family also spent an adventurous year in Prague, Czech Republic, where he taught Computer Science and Robotics at an international school. Outside the classroom, he is a family man. Kelly, his wife, and their two children, Turner (10) and Vada (2), love traveling together as a family. When he is not teaching, you can find him running, training for an ultra-marathon, or playing the drums.

 

 

Elizabeth is a lifelong resident of Mobile. She attended local private parochial schools before earning a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Spring Hill College and a Master of Education in Instructional Leadership from the University of South Alabama. She brings with her 29 years of teaching experience in the public school system. Elizabeth and her husband, Walter, are proud parents of three children, Isabelle (26), Charles (23), and Thomas (21). Outside the classroom, she enjoys kayaking, working in her yard, spending time on Mobile Bay, and spoiling her beloved furry family members.

 

 

 

We are excited to welcome Grace Hodges. Born and raised in Mobile, she knows how special this school is and is excited for this opportunity.

 

Mrs. Hodges earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Alabama and a master’s degree in Secondary Education English Language Arts from the University of South Alabama. Over the past two years, she has had the privilege of teaching high school English, helping students grow as readers, writers, and critical thinkers.

 

She is looking forward to getting to know students, building meaningful relationships, and creating a classroom where everyone feels challenged, supported, and inspired. We are happy to have her as a part of the St. Paul’s community, and we’re all excited for a wonderful school year. Go Saints!

 

 

 

We welcome Joseph Powell as Director of Choirs! He comes to this position following over a decade of leadership in Memphis, Tennessee, where he most recently served as Artistic Director of Memphis ChoralArts, Interim Artistic Director of the Memphis Symphony Chorus, and a conductor for multiple ensembles at the University of Memphis, including Mazi and the Collegiate Choir.

 

Powell is currently completing a Doctor of Musical Arts in Choral Conducting with a cognate in Vocal Pedagogy at the University of Memphis, building on a Master of Music in Choral Conducting from the University of Southern Mississippi and a Bachelor of Music Education from the same institution.

 

Over his career, Powell has led choirs in performance across the United States and Europe, including appearances at Wells Cathedral, Durham Cathedral, St. Alban’s Cathedral, and churches throughout Germany, as well as a performance at the Papal Basilica of Saint Peter in Vatican City in the presence of Pope Francis I. His ensembles have been recognized nationally, including as High School National Championship Finalists at the A Cappella Education Association’s National A Cappella Convention and through featured performances at the Tennessee Music Educators Association State Conference.

 

A versatile performer as well as a conductor, Powell has appeared as a tenor soloist with the Memphis Symphony Orchestra, Opera Memphis, and Calvary Episcopal Church, in repertoire ranging from Bach and Mozart to Dan Forrest and Craig Hella Johnson. He has also worked extensively in musical theatre as a music director and pit musician for regional premieres and Broadway titles.

 

His honors include recognition as a VOCES8 US Scholars Program Finalist, the Distinguished Alumni in the Arts award from St. Paul’s Episcopal School, and the Country Music Association Foundation’s Music Teacher of Excellence award.

 

 

 

Cierra received her computer science degree from Alabama A&M University. She joins St. Paul’s with extensive experience in laptop repairs, data analysis and visualization, data management, and Microsoft 365. Cierra is married to Darriel, and they have one son, DJ.

 

 

 

Margaret will be working in the Advancement office alongside Carrie, Mae, and Catherine. She is a St. Paul’s alum and a new St. Paul’s parent. She ran cross country and track during her years as a student here. After graduation, she attended the University of Mississippi as a scholarship athlete for cross country and track. Margaret is very excited to return to St. Paul’s to help advance its efforts of nurturing and educating our community’s future leaders. She is married to Zach Morgan. They have three kids: Miller (4), Mae (2), and Neely (6 months). In her free time, she enjoys cooking, traveling, and spending time with her family.

 

 

 

Reginald Bracy is a dedicated believer and follower of Jesus Christ. He is the son of Lanesha and Harry Bracy and brother to Victoria and Christopher. A proud alumnus of St. Paul’s, Reginald was a multi-sport athlete in football, track, and basketball. During his four-year varsity football career at St. Paul’s from 2016 to 2020, he was a dominant force on the field, leading his team in tackles as both a sophomore and senior. He earned first-team all-state and all-region honors as a senior and played a key role in leading the team to a state championship in 2017. After high school, he signed with the University of Iowa, where he was one of only two freshmen to letter in 2020 and participated in every game that season. He played three seasons at Iowa before transferring to Troy University, from which he graduated in December 2024. Most recently, Bracy signed to play arena football in the summer of 2025. He is passionate about giving back by sharing his knowledge of the game and life lessons with the next generation. His favorite Bible verses are Proverbs 3:5–6, which remind us to trust in the Lord and allow Him to direct our paths.

 

 

Patrick Niland is a Mobile native and graduate of UMS–Wright (Class of ’14). After graduating from UMS–Wright, Patrick attended South Alabama where he was a Student Manager for the Men’s Basketball program all four years and was head manager his junior and senior year.

 

Patrick then went to the University of Alabama where he was a Graduate Assistant for the Men’s Basketball team in Tuscaloosa from 2018–2020.

 

Upon graduating from the University of Alabama with a master’s in Sports Management and Administration, Patrick became the Assistant Coach for the Spring Hill College Men’s Basketball team. During his four years on the Hill, Patrick recruited and coached seven all-conference players and three pro players.

 

Following an eight-month tenure as the Director of NIL for the University of South Alabama Athletic Department, Patrick accepted the job as Head Boys Basketball Coach at St. Luke’s Episcopal School, where he spent one year before accepting the same role at St. Paul’s Episcopal School.

 

Patrick is married to Courtney Niland and has one daughter, Olivia, who is 15 months old.
