Freshman Service for the Homeless and Hungry

Tuesday October 6th provided an enlightening experience for St. Paul’s ninth graders.  All the students participated in a poverty simulation to gain empathy and understanding for those less fortunate, then packed nearly a thousand bags of weekend food for children at Ella Grant Elementary as well as eighty boxes of food for families at the Callahan School for the Deaf and Blind.  Donations made by SPS families during the annual SGA food drive provided supplies to pack the bags and boxes.
