Senior Spotlight: Reese Flotte

Today’s Senior Spotlight is Reese Flotte. Reese has been running cross country since 7th grade. He is known for his tireless work ethic. For many years now, you can often see him in the gym after practice putting in extra training with both weights and cardio.
Running and fitness have become a passion for him, as have his teammates. His friend group have stayed together the whole time, and along the way they’ve brought more people onto the team who want to be part of what they are building. One of the highlights of his time at St. Paul’s is when his mom had a surprise birthday party for him and most of the team was there to celebrate with him.

On top of all that, Reese has great taste in music. He can often be spotted at practice in a classic rock tee shirt bobbing his head to groovy tunes. Reese aspires to attend a service academy next year. He is pursuing that goal with the same determination that he’s pursued his running goals. A teammate of Reese’s said, “He’s a very hard worker, and he has the best pre-meet tunes.”

Way to go Reese!
