This will be Coach Barnett’s 14th year of coaching high school football. He has served as an assistant at McGill-Toolen, Mary G. Montgomery, Thompson High School, and was the Defensive Coordinator at Theodore for two years. Coach Barnett also served as the Head Coach at Cottage Hill Christian Academy. Coach Barnett received his Bachelor of Science in physical education and health from the University of South Alabama. Ham is married to Whitney Barnett (Alumni 2004) and they have three children Hamiliton, Lila, and Thomas. Whitney teaches PreK at St. Paul’s.
Coach Baxter is entering his 6th year as a full time coach for the Saints Varsity Football Team. A 2008 graduate of St. Paul’s, Ryne was member of the varsity football and baseball teams for four seasons. Ryne helped lead the Saints to a football State Championship his senior year and was elected All-State after both his junior and senior seasons. He was also part of back-to-back semi-final teams in baseball. Ryne was a member of the first football team at the University of South Alabama and went on to graduate in 2013 with a bachelor’s degree in physical education. He completed in 2015 his master’s degree in physical education from the University of South Alabama. Ryne taught physical education at the Lower School and also serves as the co-head coach for the softball team. In January 2019, Ryne married Payton Rascoe Baxter.
